Are you a motivated and research-driven student, eager to learn more about acute medicine? Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of innovations within the Emergency Department (ED)? Join the Summer School on Acute Medicine at the University of Groningen! 

Over the past decade, the University of Groningen has offered a broad variety of research-driven and interdisciplinary summer schools for students from all over the world. 
This year, from the 8th until the 12th of July 2024, the first edition of the Summer School Acute Medicine will take place at the University Medical Center Groningen. 

During the 5-day programme, you will attend lectures, masterclasses and practical group exercises ranging from understanding future challenges of acute care to the role of personalized medicine in optimizing outcomes. You will delve into cutting-edge subjects such as artificial intelligence-based triage, and clinical decision support tools at the ED.
You will work on assignments within the group of 30 other participants. 

Besides the scientific programme, a social programme filled with dinners and parties around the city of Groningen is offered, to allow you to engage with other participants and create enjoyable moments together.
